My name is Larasmoyo Nugroho, an aerospace engineering researcher. My primary duty is to conduct highly qualified scientific experimentation starting from concepts, purchase, experiments building, analysis and publication to share the hard earned knowledges. My expertise includes Control Systems, Modern Rocket Guidance Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Flight Dynamics, Aerodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Aircraft Design, Car Design, and Game Design. I am ready to quickly learn and teach any additional subjects as needed. I use heavily many 3D tools (SOlidworks, 3ds Max, Cinema4D, Maya, Autocad) and few programming languages (python, matlab, C#, Java) to conduct the above mentioned activities.
In my career at BRIN and previously at LAPAN, I have developed numerous hardware from the scratch and software projects that became institutional milestones, such as UAVs: MOYAV-1, HSFTB, RKX200TJ; Rockets: RTX-100, RKX-100T, RKX-300TC; Software: SIJIDALANG, SIPANDAS Horizontal, SIPANDAS Vertical. Currently, I am focused on Artificial Intelligence, working on a rocket landing control system project using Machine Learning, specifically Reinforcement Learning and Generative AI.
I continuously improve my ability to analyze complex experiment data, grab their bottomline concepts, wrap up into small modules, and deliver to a broad audience clearly and effectively. With my research experience, I aim to stay updated with AI developments to enhance the chances of new discoveries in rocketry control systems and physics.
