Rebranding and Package Design for "Natura" Organic Beauty Products

About Me

As a freelance graphic designer, I was contracted by Natura, a leading organic beauty brand, to rebrand their product line and create new packaging designs. The goal was to modernize the brand's visual identity while maintaining its natural and eco-friendly essence.

Process:

  1. Conducted market research and analyzed competitor brands to identify design trends and opportunities.
  2. Collaborated with the client to understand their vision and created a brand style guide, including a refreshed logo, color palette, typography, and visual elements.
  3. Developed multiple packaging concepts for various product categories, such as skincare, haircare, and cosmetics.
  4. Refined selected concepts based on client feedback and prepared final artwork for production.

Design Solutions:

  • Refreshed logo featuring a minimalist, hand-drawn leaf icon and a clean, modern wordmark.
  • Earth-toned color palette inspired by nature, with accent colors for product differentiation.
  • Sustainable packaging materials, such as recycled paper and soy-based inks, to align with the brand's eco-friendly values.
  • Clean, minimalist layout with ample white space to convey a sense of purity and simplicity.
  • Incorporated hand-drawn illustrations and patterns to add a touch of organic authenticity.

 

Results: The rebranding and new packaging designs were well-received by both the client and their customers. The updated visual identity successfully repositioned Natura as a modern, premium organic beauty brand, leading to increased brand recognition and sales. The project also received a Silver Award in the "Packaging Design" category at the 2023 International Design Awards.
